Which credential evaluation is right for you?

It depends on what you need your evaluation for. Please read the categories under our Education Services carefully.

If you are still unsure after reviewing all our evaluation services, we urge you to use our Suggested Service within the application to ensure you choose the right evaluation.

What documentation is needed to submit for evaluation?

For academic evaluations, we will require you to submit all your your official academic documents (transcripts, certificates, diplomas) to TEC.

Does TEC accept official documents through mail?

No.  For verification purposes, original documents must be sent from the issuing institution. Please submit copies of all documents via our online application. TEC is not responsible for any original documents mailed to our offices.

If there are documents issued in a language other than English, is a translation required to complete the evaluation?

TEC requires a certified translation from a certified translator or a reputable translations company. TEC is also happy to provide you with a quote for any documents you may need to have translated.

How long does the evaluation process take?

Standard turnaround time is 10 business days after all required documents and full payment have been received. Some cases do require additional time for research and verification. Additionally, we offer rush services of 2 and 5 business days.

How do you know if your case request has been received?

You should receive an automatic response from our system within an hour of submitting your case request. This response will confirm receipt of your request.

How do you check the status of an application?

To find out the status of your submitted application, please use our status checker.

What is the process for any questions or concerns after an evaluation has been completed?

Please respond directly to the completed case email that you received from TEC with your concern for our team to review. Be sure to include your TEC case number, which can be found in the file name and at the top of the document. In the body of your email, please let us know your evaluation concern and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
