When is verification required?

For post-secondary credentials: TEC requires authentication of the highest post-secondary academic credential per country of study as well as professional credentials from most countries.

For secondary credentials: TEC requires authentication of most secondary school credentials from Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and member countries of the West African Examinations Council.
