Founded in 1982, SpanTran grew into one of the most trusted names in the foreign credential evaluation industry, earning our NACES® membership in 1996, a distinction we have proudly maintained ever since.
In 2024, we rebranded as The Evaluation Company (TEC), a name that better reflects the breadth of who we are today. Since then, we have expanded our offerings to include Canadian credential evaluations and VisaKey, our healthcare worker certificate evaluation.
To date, we have completed over one million evaluations for students, professionals, and institutions across the globe. Our partners include universities, state licensing boards, healthcare organizations, and employers who rely on us to make accurate, timely decisions about the credentials of the people they serve.
