Senior Spotlight: Meet Nevena Nikolic, Senior Credential Analyst

septembre 7, 2026

Chez The Evaluation Company, chaque évaluation de diplômes représente une nouvelle étape importante pour un candidat. Notre série « Plein feux sur nos cadres » présente les membres d'expérience de l'équipe qui contribuent à rendre ce travail possible.

Meet Nevena Nikolic

Nevena Nikolic is a Senior Credential Analyst at The Evaluation Company, bringing decades of experience in academic credential evaluation and international education systems.

Nevena holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Belgrade and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto. Through the Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program and the Youth International Internship Program, she had the opportunity to study and work in Beijing and Xiamen.

After returning from China, she began what became a 23-year career at World Education Services (WES). Between roles, she also worked as a contractor for Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute (ACEI) and Foundation for International Services (FIS) before joining The Evaluation Company.

Helping Applicants Move Forward

Nevena was drawn to credential evaluation because it combines careful research and analysis with work that can make a direct difference in people’s lives.

“I find each education system interesting in different ways,” Nevena says. “I enjoy observing how systems evolve over time, how institutions change, how new programs emerge, and how educational pathways adapt to meet the needs of students and society.”

Beyond the Evaluation

Outside of TEC, Nevena enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and animals in general. She loves being outdoors—gardening, hiking, kayaking, ice skating on Nova Scotia’s lakes during the winter, and spending time at the province’s beaches in the summer.
